Ambulancia by Richard Legaspi and Shorts by Seymour Barros Sanchez were chosen to be part of Bite the Mango Film Festival to be held in September 19-25 at the National Media Museum in Bradford, West Yorkshire, UK. Bite the Mango has been around since 1995. It has featured Asian and Black filmmakers in the UK. Now, it has become a celebration of cultures all over the world. It is becoming a point of convergence of world cinema.

The film festival will be held on November 7-9, 2008 at the Portage Theater, which has been recently renovated and can now hold 1,300 viewers.

Mighty on July 4th, 2008 Hellboy is back for some more kickass action! This time, let’s get wowed by the director who brought us Pan’s Labyrinth. Visionary director Guillermo del Toro puts his hand on Mike Mignola’s Hellboy.
The Hellboy universe is truly suitable to the big screen. I loved the first Hellboy movie with the not-so-typical demon hero in Hellboy.

Mighty on July 2nd, 2008 Batman Begins was a great movie. In a lot of ways, it was better than the previous films. It had grit, intensity, and fun in its own way. People have been raving about Heath Ledger’s performance in this film. I wonder if he lives up (sorry for the pun) to such an expectation.
