Penstalker.com due for Overhaul

This is a quickie update on what I’m doing now and why I haven’t been updating this site for, like, ages now. I’ve been busy (obviously) and I have recently signed up for a full time job. Yup. You heard that right. I’m no longer you’re friendly neighborhood freelance writer and blogger. I am now fully employed with a rather heavy workload. If you want to read about my most recent exploits and (mis)adventures, do check out my other blogs at PinoyYouth and Voices of Young People in Ministry.

My full time work doesn’t mean I am going to forget blogging about films, literature and my experiences. Actually, blogging is already a part of my lifestyle and I could not imagine doing away with it. Sure enough, I might neglect blogging every now and then but somehow I keep coming back.

Better watch out for the overhaul of Penstalker.com. I’m planning to change the theme of the site and then blog more about the books and DVD’s I’ve acquired and also the movies I watch.

Another quick update, I’ve met Jeff Solema, the founder of the first ever Filipino International Film Festival – Los Angeles (FIFFLA) and Aira Hernandez, the FIFFLA lead person here in Manila. Jeff flew from Los Angeles to Manila to meet with several producers and agencies supporting Philippine Cinema. When Jeff was here, he was really busy with a number of meetings to promote FIFFLA and encourage film producers to showcase their films in film festival. If all goes well, Filipino films could get the chance to catch the attention of Hollywood producers.

Lots of things are going on right now. I’ve stopped attending the regular movie bloggers events because my schedule has become really hectic and busy. I’ll try to manage my sked so that you can read about the latest movie news and reviews. Without those reviews,  I hope you could still be encouraged to read books that capture my interest.
