Download Movies to Your Sony Ericsson Phones
Sony Ericsson will make it easier for their customers to download games, music, TV series and even full length movies to their phones! Whoa! That would be a great feature. Sony Ericsson is now preparing to launch their kiosks all over Asia Pacific for its PlayNow service.
This feature should make Pinoys giddy with delight. The plans for these kiosks were disclosed on Wednesday, 14 January 2009. The purpose of the kiosks would be to allow customers to download large files which may not be possible in the broadband service in most countries in Asia. But the problem is, the kiosks will initially be rolled out only in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.
Hey when will this feature be available in the Philippines? Maybe they thought lotsa movie pirates are here for their liking? I hope not.
Initially, the downloads will include Will Smith’s Hancock, Adam Sandler’s You Don’t Mess with the Zohan and the movie 21. TV series for download include Cashmere Mafia and the Tudors. Quantum of Solace and Spider Man 3 mobile games will also be offered for download.
This will be welcomed by movie fans. But then again, don’t a lot of people download these files from the net and watch them through pirated DVDs?
