If you notice the right sidebar of my blog, you’d notice several “chicklets.” For the uninitiated (like I was a few minutes ago), chicklets are small buttons that allow your readers to subscribe to your posts through their RSS Readers. If they are subscribed to your blog, then they can read your posts without necessarily typing your blog URL. All they have to do is to log on to their RSS readers such as bloglines, Google Reader, My Yahoo, and My AOL among others. It makes use of the RSS technology. RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and makes it easier for people to view blogs.
I only discovered this a few minutes ago. Thankfully, I got directed to the Ten Tips for Blogging at TopRankBlog. Click on the link provided and you too can start installing your chicklets and make it easier for your readers to read your posts. In the meantime, you might want to subscribe to my posts, too. :d
