Using BPI Credit Card, BPI Mastercard

If you applied for a BPI credit card, BPI mastercard, you better use it. What use would it be if it just stayed inside your wallet?

I’m not saying you got to SM North EDSA, SM Manila, Trinoma or any other Manila Malls. What I’m saying is, there are a lot of benefits in using Bank of the Philippine Islands credit cards.

If you’re stuck somewhere without cash and all you have is your credit card, you can easily go to an ATM and withdraw some cash. Before you can do this though, you have to ask for your PIN. Call the BPI Phonebanking system at 89-100 for more information on this.

You can have cash advance for a maximum of 30% of your credit limit. If you have a BPI Gold Mastercard, however, you can withdraw 100% of your credit limit. I won’t really do that if I were a Gold Mastercard holder.

You can also give one of your family members (or a loved one) a supplementary card. The first one is FREE for life! Your supplementary card holder should be at least 13 years old though if you don’t want your house to be full of toys. Heheh

If you also travel frequently, your BPI credit card, BPI mastercard has a travel insurance package for up to P10 million. But there is a catch. You should charge your airfare to your BPI credit cards. My credit limit isn’t that high yet so I don’t think this option would be available for me at this time.

With the benefits of a BPI credit card, BPI mastercard, I can maximize my spending and still be free of debt.
