Terminator Salvation Doesn’t Save Schwarzenegger

Gov. Schwarzenegger is so busy running the State of California that he can no longer make another Terminator movie. He’s too old enough for it? Nah. Just busy maybe. If Stallone can do it in Rambo 4 and Rocky Balboa, the Guv’nor can still do it, can’t he?

Not surprisingly, he will be replaced, not by Christian Bale, but by another bemuscled Austrian bodybuilder with the name of Roland Kickinger. This guy isn’t really new to the big screen. He appeared in 2005 as a young Arnold in a TV movie series See Arnold Run.

By playing T800 in The Terminator, Arnold Schwarzenegger reached the heights of his acting career. It was so successful actually that he even became Governor! The producers of Terminator aren’t using good ol’ Arnold as the T800 because the heroes in Terminator Salvation encounter him in the future.

There are some interesting scenes in the film like what would John Connor think of the Terminator the first time he sees him? After all, he isn’t one of the good guys at first. It’s gonna be an action-filled movie in 2009!

  1. this new Terminator should be good, if nothing else because Christian Bale is in it… i wonder, will Arnold make an appearance?
