SILVERSHORTS Short Film Competition

Are a Philippine independent film buff, a Pinoy indie film-maker? You might want to join the Silvershorts Short Film Competition, a part of the MOV International Digital Film Festival.

.MOV (pronounced as dot-MOV) will feature short films. So if you do have some short films available, do send your entry to .MOV on or before August 15, 2008. Non-students and professionals are also welcome to submit their entries.

Short films should be twenty minutes or less. They should be submitted in DVD formats together with the entry form. The top film will be awarded a the Best Short together with a whopping P100,000! That’s not too bad a prize!

If you submit now, you will learn the list of finalists on August 30, 2008. That’s a pretty fast response time.

We will have a chance to watch the finalists to the .MOV International Digital Film Festival on September 24 – October 7. The venues for screening are in Manila, Bacolod, Cebu, Iloilo and Dumaguete.
