Thanks to the MTV Splash Page, we got this scoop on Robert Downey Jr. asking Marvel to get their acts together and make sure that the upcoming, hungrily anticipated, Avengers movie works!
That should get fans thinking! The Avengers movie planned to be released in 2011 will bring together A-list actors together to play various roles. Iron Man will be there as will Thor, The Hulk and even Captain America!
Officially, Robert Downey Jr. is now a part of Iron Man 2 and Avengers movie. Brace yourselves for what he said. While almost everyone in the geekworld and comic book fandom is anticipating Avengers movie, Downey Jr. has some solid piece of advice.
If we don’t get it right it’s really, really going to suck! It has to be the crowning blow of Marvel’s best and brightest because it’s the hardest thing to get right. It’s tough to spin all the plates for one of these characters.
Well said Mr. Downey sir! if Marvel can promise that the Avengers will be more than just a gathering of Superheroes, then they better deliver! Right now, I have some reservations on how they can pull it off–effects-wise and story-wise. If needs be, they should create a 4-hour movie just to give justice to all the characters involved. But then again, that’s just my 5-cent worth of advice.
