Robert Downey Jr as Sherlock Holmes, Jude Law as Dr. Watson

Robert Downey Jr. plays the role of master sleuth Sherlock Holmes Jr. while Jude Law plays Dr. Watson, Sherlock’s ever dependable sidekick and chronicler.

I think Robert Downey Jr. will make a fine Sherlock character. Although if you look at the pics, he seems to be sloppy and uncout. Besides, it’s funny to see Sherlock Holmes, whose story is set in the 18th century, holding a cup of Starbucks coffee! hahah.

Guy Ritchie is directing this movie, so you can expect it to be a kickass detective movie. I just wonder which of the Sherlock Holmes short story or novels they based the script on. Let’s wait for further rumor to hit the blogospher.
