Let’s Take a Peak at the G.I. Joe Movie
The G.I. Joe movie will be showing real soon. I wonder if it will be as good as it was promised to be. The movie is now in post-production so we’re hoping it will be finished soon. According to Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura, “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra” is gonna be a big and really fun! We hope so too! One thing that separates from G.I. Joe movie is that unlike the Mission Impossible, which was stripped of the team work that made it popular, G.I. Joe has a team of eight to nine people who really make it compelling. Team works!
I have nothing against Mission Impossible. In fact I enjoyed it. But the team spirit of the original series was taken away. For me, that was a bad decision. With G.I. Joe’s team, I hope it will be worth watching.
The movie features a really stellar cast including Dennis Quaid, Marlon Wayans, Sienna Miller, Channing Tatum, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and others. Their costumes are really good and I do hope that the story line is also as good as their looks.
The relationships and the conflicts between and among the characters, directly lifted from the comic book series make the movie more compelling to us who did love the original series. The relationship between Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow is worth looking forward to. It remains to be seen however if the movie will remain true to the vision of the comic book creator.
Here are G.I. Joe pictures for our eyes to feast on. They really look like action figures come to life!! “Yo Joe!”
