Diaz to Surprise Pacquiao on June 28

I love betting for the underdogs. This NBA 2008, I went for the Boston Celtics (hmmm… them being an underdog might have to be qualified, though). On June 28, I’m going for David Diaz. It’s nothing personal. I respect Manny Pacquiao as a boxer. He has proven a lot. But still, I’m betting for David Diaz.

photo from http://www.cyberboxingzone.com/news/archives/00001769.htmDavid Diaz is training at the JABB gym in Chicago City. In fact, his training started two weeks earlier than Manny Pacquiao. I have no doubt that he has studied Pacquiao’s previous fights—his strengths and his weaknesses. If Diaz does not prepare well, he will fall prey to the power of Pacquiao.

Well, according to David Diaz, his training is going excellently and that he is at the peak of his performance. Compared to Pacquiao, Diaz has remained low profile although he has proven well that he deserves to be the champion of his division. Although he might have a difficulty in countering the speed of Pacquiao’s punches, the trainers of David Diaz has come up with a workout plan to offset Pacquiao’s advantage.

David Diaz is an American but he descends from Mexican parents. Obviously, he does not share the fame of Manny Pacquiao but he also has solid supporters from his home country and from the Mexicans as well.

The Manny Pacquiao – David Diaz fight is scheduled to run on June 28 (June 29, Sunday morning in Manila). Although the fight would be shown in local TV, I’m pretty sure that the viewers will be bombarded by thousands of commercials.

So if you want to view the fight without commercials, go to Digital Cinema outlets of SM City, Robinsons’ or Ayala. By spending P500, you won’t have to endure the commercials and you get to enjoy the fight without interruptions!
