Clay Art for Beginners

Have you seen The Nightmare before Christmas or the Monster Bride. I suppose clay is not only meant to dirty our shoes on the rainy season. It is actually one of the art media being used by a number of artists all over the world.

Now, if you want to learn about Clay Art, Fully Booked is sponsoring a workshop. You have to be at least 8 years old to qualify though. Here’s the release:

Learn the basic techniques in handling clay in the spirit of play and free expression with terra cotta artist and painter Aba Lluch Dalena. Lessons include the basic techniques in handling clay, sculpting with a free theme — figurative, functional and abstracted forms — and mending / painting clay works.

VENUE: The Forum, Fully Booked Bonifacio High Street Bonifacio Global City
DATES & TIME: November 17 & 24,and December 1, 2008 (Mondays) from 5:00pm-7:00pm
FEES: 3 sessions @ Php3,500 total inclusive of clay materials per student
PHP 1,680 must be settled upon registration to cover materials and reservation
