In the interest of efficient and effective blog posting, I have thought about instituting some guidelines in posting on my blogs. These are general guidelines, really, which can help in posting articles in my blog.
Be enthusiastic and passionate with what you write about. You wouldn’t be able to post interesting blog articles if you were not passionate with the topic you’re writing about. When you are enthusiastic and passionate, it will show in your posts. Readers would definitely want to read passionate blog posts than bland ones.
Check related keywords with the topic. For your blog to receive better exposure through search engine results page (SERP) placement, you might as well check some keywords that you can use for search engine optimization (SEO). If you do, you will be able to attract better traffic to your blog. SEO works not only for big websites but also for blogs.
Write a five-point outline. Actually, a three-point outline would do. If you have an outline, you are well protected from rambling and writing useless things in your article.
Write like crazy. As soon as you have ideas for posting, write like crazy! This way, you can write about the things that you truly love. My usual posts are a bit long. They are 400 to 1,000-word articles. My personal view is that you longer posts are better because they can deal with a particular topic in depth rather than providing a cursory glance only.
Splice at least five links in the body of the article. Providing links to other authoritative sites will also enhance the credibility of your blog posts. It means that you are reading the blogs of the experts and are learning from them. Such links will also provide additional information and resources to your readers who are interested with what you have written about.
Comment in at least ten related blogs. Commenting is a means of saying to the world that you are establishing active connections. This is also one way of promoting your blogs. If you engage in dialog with other bloggers, you develop a means of connecting with people.

Nice. Very informative. I like number 5, although it’s only of late that I learned that there are other bloggers out there. It’s amazing how there are blogging communities whose members are like close friends because of the ties that they’ve developed by just visiting each member’s blog.
So yes, maybe the main goal of posting comments is to attract more readers to your blog(s), but there are instances that you can get hooked to one or two blogs/communities (I’m talking from experience here,
