The sequel to the uber controversial Da Vinci Code is being shot. Yup, Angels & Demons is being prepared to hit world theaters to wow, shock and amaze moviegoers all over the world. It will definitely ride the controversy that Dan Brown spawned in the past few years.

Did you notice anything different from Da Vinci Code? Tom Hanks’ hair is not the same. It has become more contemporary and it adds suave to his character Robert Langdon. Da Vinci was a controversial movie but the producers and the production team managed to shoot everywhere. But this time, Angels and Demons proved a little more difficult because it involved the murder of two cardinals. Officially, the Church shut down its doors and told the production team to “Get lost!!”
Because Angels and Demons did not have the same level of controversy as did Da Vinci Code, it is expected to rake in less money. The Roman Catholic Church might even mobilize its PR folks and its religious institutions to ban the film and discourage the faithful from ever viewing it.
We’ll see how it goes and observe the Box Office for the reaction of the world.
