34th Metro Manila Film Festival this Christmas Season

Merry Christmas y’all! It’s that time of the year when we feel the cool breeze in Manila, as impossible as that may sound. We buy gifts, cook good food and reunite with our family and friends.

The Christmas season is also a time to celebrate Filipino film culture. The 34th Metro Manila Film Festival is coming to town!

The 2008 Metro Manila Film Festival will run from December 28, 2008 to January 5, 2009. Eight films will compete in the Festival. Some of these films are new while others are sequels. But we will get to see a number of familiar faces from the past Metro Manila Film Festivals.

Vic Sotto reunites with long time friends and partners Tito Sotto and Joey De Leon with Iskul Bukol: 20 Years After by Tony Y. Reyes.
