There seems to be no end to Film Festivals here in the Philippines and abroad.

The 2008 Chicago Filipino American Film Festival, now on its fifth year, is now accepting submissions.

The film festival will be held on November 7-9, 2008 at the Portage Theater, which has been recently renovated and can now hold 1,300 viewers.

Filipino independent films will be screened alongside American indie movies during the film festival. The categories are feature-length narrative, documentary (feature-length or short), short film and music video.

The Music Video Category includes a 1,000-dollar cash grant. It should be collaboration between filmmakers and musicians.

You may submit until September 15, 2008. But you can catch up till the grace period of October 1, 2008. For details, please visit www.cfaff.org
